Bio

I did my first triathlon in 1994 at the age of 13 and blew the field away by over 3 minutes !  I did not do my next triathlon until the summer of 2000 at the Franconia Notch Triathlon 'The Race to the Face', on a borrowed mountain bike which we were not sure even held air in the tires, I did NOT blow the field away.  I was just having fun.  I had never seen the Ironman on tv or really had much of an idea what it was.

A collegiate cross-country skier, I started doing triathlons as a way to keep my fitness up in the off-season. I quickly fell in love with the sport and decided to pursue it with my full attention. I invite you to join me as I compete all around the country swimming, biking and running(and the occasional snowshoe or Nordic ski race).

I currently coach XC running, Indoor and Outdoor Track at Bow High School and was voted the 2011 NH Coach of the Year. I also spent 3 years as an assistant coach for Colby College's Nordic ski team.

Leading the field at the Granite State Snowshoe Championships!

Collegiate Skiing for Clarkson University

In addition racing as a professional triathlete, I work as a personal coach and trainer to help other athletes achieve their fitness and race goals.
